Pale Ale

Description

Intense golden color and highly modified malt. It is brewed through a special kilning process maintaining a high enzymatic power. It is ideal for use as a base malt in various styles of beers.

Characteristics

  • Highly modified malt, with higher FAN, soluble nitrogen and Kolbach values than pilsen and extra pale.
  • Performs well in single mashesContributes nutty, bread and cookie flavors (contributing a more pronounced cereal flavor).
  • Color: 5.5 – 7.5 EBC (2.6-3.2 L).
  • Usage up to 100% depending on beer style.
